Jordan 2NT

After an opening 1 of a suit bid, and a takeout double by an opponent, 2NT is used to show a limit raise (or perhaps better by agreement) and a double raise is used as a pre-emptive call.  With a natural 2NT type hand the responder must Re-double first (showing 10+ HCP) and subsequently bid NT at the next opportunity.

In the Flip Flop version 2NT is used as the pre-emptive raise, and the double raise is a limit raise but not better.

Either version may be played over both major and minor suit openings.
