Fast Arrival

Playing Fast Arrival,  a jump to game, when the auction is forced to game, shows a minimum type hand.  For example:

1    -    2

2    -    4

Would show minimum values for the 2 call, whereas the auction:

1    -    2

2    -    3

would show a better hand, with perhaps some interest in slam.  Fast arrival is also part of the Jacoby 2NT convention.

The opposite of this approach is called Slow Arrival.
