Upside Down Count & Attitude

Playing UDCA carding, signals mean exactly the opposite as they do playing standard signals.  That is then:

High-Low shows an odd number of cards

Up the line shows an even number of cards

Low card encourages

High card discourages

When agreeing on these signals it is wise to discuss whether present or current count is being used, and whether or not this is Upside Down as well.  There is considerable debate in the bridge community on this topic.
