Benjamin 2 Bids

A 2 opening shows:

     a) 23-24 HCP balanced

     b) 20-22 and 1 good suit

     c) 18-20 and strong 2 suiter

Responder bids 2  as a negative response (less than 8 HCP or so), 2 and 2 are natural 5+ card suits, 2NT is 8+ HCP

A 2  opening is stronger than 2  and 100% game forcing type hand.  This permits the use of 2  to show a hand which would normally be opened with an Acol 2 Bid.
