Acol 3NT

A convention in which an opening bid of 3NT shows:

- possession of a solid or semi solid

   6 or 7 card suit

- either 6-3-2-2 or 7-2-2-2 distribution

   (no singleton or void)

- intermediate strength  16-21 HCP

- stoppers in at least 2 of the other

   3 suits (usually all 3 other suits)
