Double Squeeze

When one defender is squeezed in 1 suit, the other defender in a different suit, and both defenders in a 3rd suit, we have a double squeeze:

               ---

               ---

               5

               A2

---                     ---

---                     8

Q                       ---

KQ                    JT

              9

              2

              ---

              3

South leads the good 9.  West must hold on to the Queen, so discards a club.  Dummy discards the 5 and East is now squeezed in hearts and clubs.

To learn more about squeezes refer to Clyde Love's classic Bridge Squeezes Complete , now available in a fully interactive computer program.
